A Family Vacation That Changed Everything

While vacationing with my daughters, we encountered cats at a resort whose situation deeply troubled us. What began as concern quickly became a series of questions: Who was helping these animals? Were there local organizations involved? How could visitors support humane solutions in a meaningful way?

That experience stayed with us long after we returned home. It ultimately inspired the creation of CANDi, a platform designed to help travelers, communities, tourism partners, and animal welfare organizations share stories, raise awareness, and support humane solutions for free-roaming, stray cats and dogs in tourism destinations.

Today, our goal is simple: to ensure these stories are seen, heard, and transformed into positive action.
