What is a CANDi Tourism Partnership?
A structured Humane Tourism program that gives tourism organizations the framework, resources, education and tools to support humane care for free-roaming and stray cats and dogs in their destination.
What is included in each partnership level?
Each level includes Partner Portal access and CANDi resources. Silver and Gold add a CANDi Action Plan, program-specific resources and more detailed tracking and reporting. Use “See everything included” on each level for the full list.
Do we need an existing local organization?
No. You can participate whether or not you already work with a local animal-welfare organization.
Can we participate if we already have a program?
Yes. CANDi resources and tracking can support and strengthen activities you already have in place.
How does the online program work?
After you choose a level, you complete your assessment and your Partner Portal resources become available based on your level. You then use the materials with your team and guests and record your activities.
Is CANDi certification?
CANDi Partner Recognition recognizes approved participation in the CANDi Humane Tourism Program. It is not certification or accreditation.
